We hope you are coping with the coronavirus pandemic.

Today is Earth Day!  Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) joins the rest of the world to celebrate Earth Day.

Celebrated every year around the world, Earth Day reminds us to demonstrate support for environmental protection and take action to connect with nature.

This Earth Day, our Founder and CEO, Dr Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka will join Ape Alliance in a panel of experts discussing how zoonotic diseases like COVIDー19 are related to ape conservation.

About this Event

Can apes contract COVID-19? How is the halt in tourism affecting project funding? How are sanctuaries taking in new arrivals? What does the pandemic mean for the illegal wildlife trade?

For answers to these questions and more, please register your email here today to receive the link and password to the Zoom conference which is starting today at 6.00 PM BST.

We have just received a note that due to an unprecedented demand to watch today’s panel discussion, Ape Alliance will now streaming the discussion live on this Facebook page. The discussion will be starting at 18:00 BST. This is 17:00 GMT, 13:00 Eastern Time (ET) and 19:00 Central European Time (CET).
