Our organization was featured by Swift Daily News following the handover of Ebola preparedness and wildlife health surveillance equipment to the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

The support is part of our continued commitment to strengthening the One Health approach, which recognizes the close connection between the health of people, wildlife, and ecosystems.

The equipment handed over included digital thermometers, smartphones, solar-powered charging banks, and ranger rain gear. These items will support frontline conservation teams in disease monitoring, field reporting, ranger welfare, and early detection of potential health risks affecting wildlife, staff, visitors, and surrounding communities.

The intervention is especially important in the Bwindi Conservation Area, a critical habitat for mountain gorillas and one of Uganda’s key conservation landscapes.
